With 28 years of previous experience in meat processing and sausage-making, George, with the help of his wife Darlene, built their own meat market in 1978 on a piece of land that they had used as their potato patch.
In the years that followed, a freezer was added on, then a cooler, an addition to the front of the store, the deer cooler, the deer freezer, and an additional room to house the electric smokehouses which supplement the old fashioned wood smokehouse that was built with the original building.
This is truly a mom and pop business. We like to keep it family! All but one of their seven children have worked with them during the years in the business (The oldest daughter was gone from home when they started.) Still working full-time are daughters Dawn and Wendy, and granddaughter Angie. Part-time help includes another daughter, grandsons, granddaughters and sons-in-law.

We offer many varieties of meats and sausages which you can purchase for yourself, or use as gifts for your friends and relatives. We will ship any of our great variety of sausages, jerky, snack stix, dried beef, etc. to you.
We also do custom butchering and processing according to your specifications. All meat is double wrapped and sharp frozen. Every order is kept separate.
